Teen killed in Southeast triple shooting, DC police looking for suspect

A 17-year-old boy is dead after a triple shooting in Southeast on Sunday night, according to D.C. police.

Police responded to the scene in the 1300 block of Morris Road, Southeast around 9:32 p.m.

When they arrived, they found Jamel Kirkland suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.

Two juvenile victims were also found. Police do not believe their injuries are life threatening. They were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Police have not released any suspect information in connection with the shooting.
