1 dead after vehicle strikes tractor trailer in Loudoun County, sheriff’s office says
LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. - One person is dead after a vehicle struck a tractor-trailer in Loudoun County after midnight, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff’s deputies and emergency crews responded to the scene on North Sterling Boulevard around 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.
They say the tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on Route 7 through a green light when the vehicle crashed into it from the side.

Investigators believe only one person was inside the vehicle.
The victim has not been identified. The tractor-trailer driver was not injured.
The roadway was closed while crews worked to clear the scene - it has since reopened.
