1 dead after crash on Greenbelt Road

GREENBELT, Md. - Police say one person is dead and at least seven others were hospitalized after a morning crash in Prince George's County.

The crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. on Greenbelt Road near Kenilworth Avenue.

A bus and at least two other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police believe that a driver heading westbound on Greenbelt Road struck the vehicles. The driver of the striking vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is still continuing at this time. Greenbelt Road was shut down for several hours.
