1 dead, 2 injured in crash in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - One person was killed after a vehicle crash in Alexandria. The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection N. Quaker Lane and Duke Street.

One person died on the scene. Two others were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The east bound lane of Duke Street is closed in both directions. Drivers should expect delays in the area.
