1 charged, 3 more sought in failed Woodbridge 7-Eleven ATM smash and grab
WOODBRIDGE - One man has been caught but police are looking for three more suspects who allegedly rammed the back of a pickup truck into a 7-Eleven in Woodbridge and tried to steal an ATM, only to accidentally dump it when they sped away.
On Wednesday, Prince William County police released surveillance video of the incident at the store on Darbydale Avenue.
According to Prince William County police, the four men are also suspected in an attempted carjacking that occurred in the 14300 block of Westminster Lane early Tuesday morning.
The four threatened a woman - implying they had a weapon - and tried to take her car, but ran away when her husband intervened.
On Wednesday, they revealed that one of the four suspects, 33-year-old David Jerome Walker Jr. of Southeast had been arrested.
He has been charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny, destruction of property, and possession of stolen property, according to police.
They say he being held without bond.
