Young girl finds needle in West Virginia McDonald's play area, nicks finger

A young girl discovered a needle when playing at a West Virginia McDonald's Friday.

Eight-year-old Breylea told WSAZ she was playing in the kid's area at the Kanawha County McDonald's when she saw something that looked like a needle.

"OK so I was playing," 8-year-old Breylea explains. "I saw something that looked like the top of a needle, and I picked it up and I took it to my mom and said 'what is this?'"

Her mother, Courtney Monk, told WSAZ she was terrified when she realized what her daughter had picked up.
