Worker trapped, killed after trench collapses at DC construction site

WASHINGTON - A construction worker was killed after a trench collapsed at a D.C. construction site on Dexter Street in Northwest on Tuesday.

The trench collapsed at a construction site on the 4600 block of Dexter Street NW, off Foxhall Road.

Crews still were working to remove his body as of 1 p.m. Tuesday.
