Warm, humid Wednesday with late afternoon storms expected

A warm, humid and much more summerlike day ahead Wednesday with the chance for storms later this afternoon and evening. FOX 5's Mike Thomas says temperatures this morning will be in the 60s across the area and will feel much better following the chilly starts we had earlier in the week.

Unsettled conditions moving in from the Midwest will bring storms our direction later today. The main wave, and the strongest of the storms, should reach the D.C. metro area sometime between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. The area will be under a marginal risk of severe weather into the evening.

The temperatures are expected to stay in the 80s all week with Friday and Saturday staying dry. Slow moving storms will bring scattered showers and clouds on Sunday.
