In less than a year, a Virginia restaurant owner has struck it big in the lottery twice!

Back in May, Hussein Haj-Assaad won $200,000 in Virginia Lottery's 50X the Money scratch-off game. After winning the huge prize, the Falls Church business owner said he would invest his winnings back into his restaurant.

However, five months later, Haj-Assaad has done it again. This time, the Annandale man won the top prize in the $250,000 Money Mania scratch-off game this month. According to Virginia Lottery, the odds of winning the top prize in this game were 1 in 367,200.

Haj-Assaad said after winning this jackpot, he may open a second restaurant with his prize money.

In case you were wondering, Haj-Assaad purchased both winning scratch-off tickets at a gas station in the 2900 block of Gallows Road in Falls Church.
