VIDEO: Police help deliver baby after traffic stop

SEATTLE -- Police in Seattle got more than they expected when they pulled over a speeding driver.

An expectant mother was inside the vehicle and going into labor. Her husband was speeding and running red lights to get to the hospital in time.

Police dashcam video captured the entire ordeal early Sunday morning.

The mom-to-be was heard shouting that she was having a baby and then you could hear the baby cry. An officer helped clear the baby's airway as the girl struggled to breathe.

Medics rushed mom and baby to the hospital after the delivery. They are said to be doing just fine.

Seattle Police said the family sent officers a note saying in part, "You have helped deliver a precious gift. We are so grateful."
