Tractor trailer crash causes delays on Interstate 95 in Prince George's County

LAUREL, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A tractor trailer and two other vehicles crashed Tuesday morning causing backups along a bust stretch of Interstate 95.

The crash happened on northbound I-95 near Route 200. Police say a vehicle made an unsafe lane change and struck the tractor trailer which left the roadway and entered the southbound lanes of the interstate.

The tractor trailer was hauling lumber. Only minor injuries were reported.

All lanes of northbound I-95 are open. The two left lanes of southbound I-95 are closed. Drivers can expect backups through the morning rush.
