Timbaland, Busta Rhymes, N.E.R.D added to ‘Something in the Water' festival lineup

In a few weeks, Pharrell and friends will take over the beach for the first Something in the Water festival.

According to a tweet shared Tuesday, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes and N.E.R.D. have been added to the long, amazing list of performers set to hit the stage during the three-day music festival.

Acts already listed include Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg, Dave Matthews Band, Migos, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Usher, Gwen Stefani and many more. A pop-up church service was also announced Tuesday, featuring performances by Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, John P. Kee and Tye Tribbet.

The Virginian-Pilot reports the official lineup with set times will be released on April 14. The stage will then be set up three days after the lineup is released.

From April 26 to April 28, the now sold out festival will be held at the Virginia Beach oceanfront.

A public meeting was held by city officials on Monday to prepare them for the festival, which also coincides with College Beach Weekend, according to The Virginian-Pilot.
