Teen from Rwanda reported missing in Montgomery County

A teenager from Rwanda was reported missing in Montgomery County after officials said he was with a student group in the area.

Jackson Nzarubara, 17, was visiting the area with a student group and was last seen by chaperones Tuesday evening at about 7:30 p.m. at the National 4-H Conference Center located at 7100 Connecticut Ave. in Chevy Chase.

Jackson was described by officials as a black male, standing about 6-feet tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and a goatee. Jackson was last seen wearing a black headband, a hooded sweatshirt with a Mickey Mouse graphic on the front, gray Adidas pants, white tennis shoes, a black jacket with gray lines on the sleeves and gray lettering on the front.

The teen may also be carrying a black suitcase and a red backpack.
