Suspect sought in 2 DC sexual assaults, including one at knifepoint

D.C. police are looking for a suspect in two Northwest sexual assaults - one at knifepoint outside a home on 8th Street and another in an alley off of Longfellow Street.

Police say the suspect attacked his first victim at home in the 5500 block of 8th Street, Northwest on Sunday, July 15.

The suspect reportedly knocked on the victim's door and then threatened her with a knife, forcing her to the ground outside the home. After sexually assaulting the victim, he ran away.

Then, on Sunday, Oct. 21 around 6:45 a.m., the suspect approached a victim in the 700 block of Longfellow Street, Northwest, and sexually assaulted the victim in an alley before running off.

The suspect was caught on camera around the time of both incidents.
