Suspect in anti-Trump vandalism identified as city lawyer

One of the suspects sought in an anti-Trump vandalism case in Chestnut Hill has been identified by city officials as a city lawyer.

According to the First Deputy City Solicitor, one of the men seen in the surveillance video is Duncan Lloyd. Lloyd is currently an Assistant City Solicitor in the Law Department.

The vandalism took place back on November 25 th around midnight, when police say two men spray painted the property of the Fresh Market on the 8200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Surveillance video captured footage of the two men approaching the building as one of them spray painted an anti-Trump sentiment. The second suspect can be seen taking photos or video of the vandalism.

Both suspects fled on foot. Damages were estimated between $3,000 and $10,000 due to the composition of stone used in the construction of the wall.

According to the First Deputy City Solicitor, Lloyd has contacted Philadelphia Police and is cooperation.

Joe DeFelice, the Chairman of the Philadelphia Republican Party called for Lloyd's firing due to his connection with the incident.
