Sun and 70s as springtime temperatures arrive to DC region
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Springtime temperatures are finally here with highs in the 70s expected Friday afternoon and highs close to 75 degrees on Saturday.
FOX 5's Mike Thomas says he won't rule out a passing shower off to the north and west near the Maryland and West Virginia panhandle but most of the area should stay dry. A mix of sunny skies with some clouds with highs near 71 degrees for Friday afternoon. An even warmer day on Saturday, Thomas says, with temperatures close to 75 degrees.
Sunday brings in some cooler temperatures and the threat of morning showers. We cool down heading into next week with another rain threat on Tuesday. More sun and warmth later in the week.
