Starbucks plans to serve wine, beer at DC, VA locations

Starbucks lovers over the age of 21 will have some new options at certain locations around the D.C. area. The coffee giant hopes to introduce sparkling wine and craft beer at 5 D.C. stores including the Penn Quarter, Dupont Circle, Georgetown, and Chevy Chase locations.

The company has already applied for liquor permits.

Starbucks is also looking to introduce alcoholic beverages at 13 northern Virginia locations.
