Silver Spring motorcyclist dies days after Clarksburg collision, Montgomery County police say

CLARKSBURG, Md. - A Silver Spring motorcyclist who was involved in a crash on Frederick Road in Clarksburg has died, Montgomery County police said on Wednesday.

Around 10:47 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a scene near Comus Road after a motorcycle collided with an Audi.

Investigators said the motorcycle was traveling north on Frederick Road, and the Audi was traveling south at the time of the crash.

Jeremy Cross, 22, of Woodside Parkway was taken to a local hospital with injuries that police described as life threatening at the time.

On Wednesday morning, they announced that Cross had died.

The Audi’s driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Police have not said whether the driver would be charged in connection with the crash.
