Serious crash sends 1 to hospital in Silver Spring area

SILVER SPRING, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Police are on the scene of serious crash in the Silver Spring area.

Officials say the crash was reported around 9 a.m. along the 12800 block of Connecticut Avenue near Atherton Drive.

Emergency crews transported one person to the hospital. The cause of the crash is still under investigation
