Senior alert issued for missing 87-year-old man who is believed to be in danger
STERLING, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - The Virginia State Police have issued a senior alert on behalf of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office who is seeking the public's help in locating a missing 87-year-old man.
Authorities say Albert Vandegriek was last seen at around 2 p.m. on Monday at Providence Village Drive in Sterling.
He is described as a white man who stands at 6-foot-2 inches tall and weighs around 195 pounds. He has blue eyes and white hair and authorities say he was last seen wearing a black and white striped shirt and gray pants.
Vandegriek suffers from a cognitive impairment and authorities say he is believed to be in danger.
He is reportedly operating a white 2004 Subaru station wagon with Virginia tags: ZJ-2363.
