RESCHEDULED: Sentencing for teen who pleaded guilty to supplying drugs to overdose victim continued

A northern Virginia teen who pleaded guilty to supplying a 17-year-old girl with a mix of drugs that left her dead has had his case continued to February.

18-year-old David Evers pleaded guilty to charges related to the death of Alexia Springer.

Springer, a Centreville High School student, was found dead from an overdose in March of this year.

Police believe she and Evers attended a party together during which the drugs were used.

Authorities also arrested another man, Daniel Urrego, who they say supplied the narcotics to Evers.

Evers was to be in court Friday, however, his case was rescheduled until February 2nd.
