Red Line service restored after morning delays between NoMa-Gallaudet and Fort Totten stations

Service between two Metrorail Red Line stations has been restored after riders met holdups Tuesday morning following delays in restoring service following weekend track work.

The transit system announced that service between the NoMa-Gallaudet and Fort Totten stations had been suspended at around 5 a.m. Officials say weekend work on that portion of the track took longer than expected.

Riders can still expect delays and the Green Line can still be used as an alternate route.
