Puppies, found in roadside box, now recovering
TAMPA (FOX 13) - Eight abandoned puppies are continuing to recover at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and may be available for adoption in a few weeks.
Officials say a good Samaritan spotted the dogs in a box on the side of the road and alerted the shelter. The puppies arrived underweight and require antibiotics, vitamins, and medicated baths for treatment.
Their health concerns include sores, hair loss, and infection.
Officials expect the dogs to make a full recovery in four to six weeks.
Those interested in adopting the puppies should contact the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
