Prince William County mom and daughter found safe

UPDATE: Prince William County police say Ria Quansah and her daughter Mia Quansah have been located by Philadelphia Police and are safe.

Police in Virginia are asking for help to locate a missing and endangered woman and her 8-year-old daughter.

Prince William County police say they are looking to locate 48-year-old Ria Quansah and her daughter Mia Quansah. They were both reportedly seen Saturday at 4:30 a.m. in the area of the 2500 block of Basin View Lane in Woodbridge, Va.

Police say Ria Quansah is a 48-year-old black female. She is 5-feet, 4-inches tall, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, and slippers.

They say 8-year-old Mia Quansah is 4-feet, 4-inches tall, weighs about 90 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was reportedly last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops.

Investigators say both Ria and Mia Quansah are believed to be missing under voluntary circumstances and may be in need of assistance and are considered endangered.

Ria may be driving with her daughter Mia in a silver 2011 Hyundai Sonata with Virginia license plate: WMA1603.
