Prince George's County police searching for missing mother and baby

Police in Prince George's County are searching for a missing mother and her baby, and they're asking for help from the public in finding her.

They say 11-month-old Amonie Moss was with her mother, 18-year-old Tenisha Moss, and the baby's grandmother when they stopped at a store on Annapolis Road in Landover Hills at around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The grandmother went inside the store, leaving Moss and her baby in the car, but when she came back outside, they had disappeared.

There's no evidence of foul play in the case. Police say the grandmother has full custody of the child. Moss and the child both reside at a home on Anacostia Road in southeast Washington.

When the child was last seen, she was wearing a pink coat, blue jeans and white shoes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the mother and baby is urged to call detectives at 301-772-4930 or Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.
