Prince George's County police ID pedestrian struck and killed in Capitol Heights
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. - Prince George's County police have released the identity of a man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Capitol Heights.
Investigators say Akil Nesby, 39, of D.C. was in the roadway when the vehicle hit him on Central Avenue near the intersection with Hampton Park Boulevard.
They are still trying to determine why Nesby was in the roadway.
Police say the driver remained at the scene.
