Prince George's County police arrest roommate after deadly Bladensburg attack

BLADENSBURG, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A 22-year-old man is facing murder charges after a man he severely beat in a Bladensburg apartment they shared died in a hospital.

Prince George's County police say Lee Andrew Ross, Jr. was taken to a hospital in critical condition after they found him unresponsive in a bedroom in the 4600 block of Edmonston Road on June 14.

The victim's roommate - J'Wuan Gallman - told police the two had been fighting.

Police initially charged Gallman with attempted murder.

After a little under two weeks, Ross succumbed to his injuries, and police charged Gallman with first and second-degree murder.

Gallman is in jail without bond.
