Police searching for attempted burglary suspects in Rockville
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Police are searching for suspects in an attempted burglary of an appliance store in Rockville.
Montgomery County police say two suspects tried to break into the store located in the 5400 block of Randolph Road at around 9:35 p.m. Monday.
When an officer arrived at the scene, the suspect vehicle was seen driving from the parking lot and nearly hit the officer standing outside of his patrol vehicle, police say.
A witness told police that another suspect fled on foot towards the train tracks nearby. Police decided to temporarily shut down trains from running on the tracks for safety precautions.
Police say the gun store next door had a surveillance camera that may have captured one of the suspects.
