Police: Man robs DC McDonald's after climbing through drive-thru window

D.C. Police are looking for a man they say robbed a McDonald's after climbing through the drive-thru window.

The alleged robbery happened Sunday morning around 5 a.m. at the fast food restaurant on the 7400 block of Georgia Avenue.

Police say the man climbed through the drive-thru window. Once he was inside, police say he robbed the store and took off with and unknown amount of money. The suspect was last seen on Georgia Avenue heading towards Hamilton Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black ski mask, black hooded jacket and armed with a black handgun.

In November, a woman was caught on video breaking into the drive-thru window of a McDonald's in Howard County, Maryland. She later surrendered to police.
