Police investigating after man shot, killed in Northeast DC
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A homicide investigation is underway in Northeast D.C. after a 20-year-old man was shot and killed Friday afternoon.
According to police, officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 100 block of Harry Thomas Way, NE, at around 3:50 p.m. on February 15.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found 20-year-old Matthew Washington, of Northwest D.C., suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead.
