Police investigating after man shot in Manassas
MANASSAS, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - A man was seriously injured when he was shot in Manassas Friday night, police say.
At around 9:11 p.m., officers responded to the scene in the 9600 block of Grant Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting.
Police say when they arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was flown to an area hospital following the shooting with life-threatening injuries.
Officers and detectives are at the scene investigating.
