Police investigate deadly stabbing in northwest DC

WASHINGTON - Police are investigating a deadly stabbing in northwest D.C. The stabbing happened around 10:20 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Buchanan Street.

The victim has been identified as 54-year-old James Patrick Tenor of D.C. Police have no suspects or motives in the stabbing. They are offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Earlier Thursday night, a woman was shot in the leg in the 4400 block of Alabama Avenue in the southeast. She is expected to recover. Officers are still investigating at this time.
