Police identify woman suspected of shooting, killing man in front of Manassas Food Lion

Police have released the identity of a woman suspected in the murder of a man in front of a Manassas grocery store.

23-year-old Roberta Edlina Brandon remains at large following Tuesday's shooting outside of the Food Lion on Hoadly Road.

Police say Brandon and another man were involved in a fight with the victim, Cordrey Douglas Jackson, at around 7:30 p.m. Investigators believe Brandon shot Jackson in the parking lot of the store. Jackson was taken to a nearby hospital but later died. Officers believe all three people involved were known to each other.

Brandon, who is of the 2800 block of Bixley Hill Court in Woodbridge, faces charges of murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
