Police: 90-year-old former Maryland private school principal suspected of raping students in 1960s
BOWIE, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A 90-year-old former Maryland private school principal was arrested Monday after investigators say he is suspected of raping two young female students in the late 1960s.
Russell Isaac, of Bowie, remains behinds bars and faces multiple rape and sex offense charges, police say.
Maryland State Police investigators say a female victim came to them in May 2016 and alleged that she was sexually abused by Isaac when she was a 14-year-old student at the W.C. Moffett School in Queen Anne's County where he was the principal.
Investigators say a second victim also reported that she was sexually assaulted by Isaac when she was 15-years-old. Police say both victims allege the sexual assaults occurred at the school between 1966 and 1968.
Maryland State Police investigators believe there may be additional victims and ask anyone with information to call 410-758-1101.
The investigation is still continuing at this time.
