Person struck by train at West Hyattsville Metro, Green Line experiencing delays

WEST HYATTSVILLE, Md. - Authorities say a person was struck by a train at West Hyattsville Monday evening. Police say Green Line train service is single tracking between Fort Totten and Prince George's Plaza.

Police are investigating the condition of the person that was struck.

Authorities say there are delays on the Green Line in both directions and buses have been requested. Riders can expect Yellow Line service to operate in both directions.
