Pedestrian serious injured in Springfield crash, police say
SPRINGFIELD, Va. - Fairfax County police are at the scene after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured on Backlick Road in Springfield.
The crash at the intersection with Villa Park Road was reported around 3:30 p.m.
