WOODBRIDGE, Va. - The Language Arc Learning and Wellness Solutions is a nonprofit with a mission to build connections, enhance communication, and foster community, specifically with a focus on neurodivergent children.
"Our practice offers a comprehensive range of therapy services that are tailored to accommodate the evolving needs of our clients and partner schools," their website says. "We are passionate about building inclusive communities by offering flexible support options to meet a variety of needs."
Owner Londyn Jackson started the nonprofit about three years ago. She told FOX 5 that she was inspired by a cousin with Tourette's syndrome and the challenges her family faced while trying to support her.
"I just have always been around children who need support and need proper support," she said. "And so, I was really motivated to start something that was going to support them in a way that I felt was necessary."
Easterns Automotive Group donated $2,200 to the nonprofit to help them continue their mission.
