Nearly 10 MILE BACKUP on Interstate 270 due to accident

GAITHERSBURG, Md. - A nearly ten-mile backup delayed commuters along a Montgomery County highway Wednesday morning.

Southbound lanes of Interstate 270 experienced high traffic volume due to an accident near Interstate 370. the delays began near Clarksburg Road.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the accident.
