Motorcyclist critically injured after crash in Southeast DC
WASHINGTON - A motorcyclist was critically injured after a crash in Southeast, D.C.
Police say the crash happened near the intersection of South Capitol Street and Firth Sterling Avenue Monday around 5:30 a.m. The motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the crash. The occupants of the vehicle were not seriously injured.
Authorities say both lanes of South Capitol Street are closed at this time. Northbound South Capitol Street is being diverted onto westbound Firth Sterling Avenue and Southbound South Capitol Street is being diverted at Potomac Avenue.
