Missing teen was with group of students from Iraq who were visiting DC area

CHEVY CHASE, Md. - Police are searching for a missing teen who authorities say was with a group of students from Iraq who were visiting the Washington, D.C. area.

Officials say 17-year-old Abdalla Ahmed was last seen on Monday, July 30, around 2:10 a.m. at the National 4-H Conference Center on Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase.

Ahmed is described as 5-feet-7-inches tall, approximately 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing black jeans with flip flops.

The group was staying at the National 4-H Conference Center. Anyone with information is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
