Miracle on 7th Street pop-up bar opens for the holiday season in DC
WASHINGTON - No one does a holiday themed pop-up bar like Drink Company! Derek Brown and crew are back for the third straight year with Miracle on 7th Street.
The Shaw pub is celebrating the holiday season beginning on November 24th and running through December 31st.
This year's decor covers gingerbread houses, winter wonderlands, Christmas trees, Santa's sleigh, Chinese food, and tons of holiday lights! Plus, all night long a, a toy train circles the bar!
The holiday magic didn't happen overnight. FOX 5's Mike Thomas visited and spoke with Brown who said a lot of effort was put into the decorations and the drinks to make sure the guests enjoy themselves. "It took about three months all together just to think through some of the ideas," he said.
Brown said last year, 70,000 people visited the bar over the holiday season. The Eggnog Shots were one of the most popular drinks -- selling over 30,000 last season, he said.
Opening night is Friday, November 24th at 5pm.
