Metro track problem at Union Station causes delays on Red Line

WASHINGTON - A track problem at Union Station disrupted Red Line train service Thursday afternoon.

Trains were temporarily single tracking between the Judiciary Square and NoMa-Gallaudet U stations due to the fire department's response at Union Station, but full service resumed just before 4 p.m.

Riders should expect residual delays in both directions during the evening rush hour commute.
