A Manassas man who allegedly shot and killed a victim in a Chantilly parking lot waited for police to arrive following the murder, according to investigators.

Police charged 51-year-old Steven Green with murder, malicious wounding, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Investigators responded to the scene in the parking lot of a large shopping plaza in the 14500 block of Lee Jackson Highway around 1:30 a.m.
