Man with ALS to take one last bike ride
Frank Hartman loves to ride bicycles, for the past 10 years he has ridden hundreds of miles. Last year, after being diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), riding a bike became challenging.
Thanks to a Maryland bike shop, Frank will have one last ride.
Mt. Airy Bicycles donated a bike will let Frank participate in Saturday's Seagull Century. The bike, a customized tandem bike, that will allow Frank to ride 100 miles through the country side of Maryland's Eastern Shore.
