Man struck by vehicle in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON - A man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle overnight in Northwest D.C.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. on 8th Street, between V Street and Barry Place, near Howard University.

The man was conscious and breathing when he went to the hospital but his condition is unknown at this time.

The driver of the striking vehicle stayed on the scene.
