Man shot multiple times in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON - Police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot multiple times on a street in Northeast, D.C. The shooting happened around 11:50 a.m. in the 1500 block of Kenilworth Avenue.

Officers say when they arrived on the scene they found the victim conscious and breathing but with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

Authorities say they are on the lookout for a black male, wearing a black jacket and possibly driving a green vehicle.
