Man shot in Fairfax County, police say

ALEXANDRIA Va. (FOX 5 DC) - A man was shot in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County on Thursday night.

Police say the shooting happened in the 7300 block of Tavenner Lane.

The man was transported to the hospital with injuries that are considered to be life-threatening, but stable condition following surgery.
