Man found dead after Fairfax County apartment fire

CENTREVILLE, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - Officials say a man is dead after an early morning two-alarm fire at an apartment complex in Virginia.

The fire was reported around 1:30 a.m. at an apartment building on Bent Tree Circle in the Centreville area of Fairfax County.

Investigators say 60-year-old David Zimmers was found dead at the scene. Officials say another person was rescued. At least 30 residents have been displaced.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
