Man arrested after sexually assaulting elderly woman in Centreville

Police have arrested a 28-year-old man for the alleged sexual assault of a 77-year-old woman.

Malcolm Raheem Hall of Centreville was taken into custody on April 14 around 8:30 p.m. after an extensive investigation. He is charged with attempted rape, sodomy and two counts of animate object penetration. Hall is currently being held in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held on no bond.

Hall was a seasonal (part-time) Fairfax County Park Authority employee at the Cub Run RECenter in Chantilly and has been employed there since September 2015. He has been terminated pending prosecution results.

The sexual assault happened on April 5 at Forest Glen at Sully Station, a senior independent living facility located in the 14400 block of Woodmere Court at around 11:20 a.m. Police said this was initially a report of someone walking in through an unlocked door, but later, the 77-year-old victim's son called police saying his mother had been sexually assaulted.
