Man accused of raping 14-year-old girl inside Manassas home

MANASSAS, Va. - A 20-year-old man is accused of following a teenage girl inside her Manassas home and raping her.

Police say Andrew Caban trailed the 14-year-old girl as she entered her home through a back entrance. Once is inside the house, police say Caban refused to leave and there was an unwanted sexual encounter.

The victim told a family member what happened and that family member contacted police. Police say the 14 year old girl was home alone when she was reportedly raped.

Caban remains in jail with no bond and his next court appearance is February 8.
